Republicans had their victim card officially revoked today. A spokesperson for the Department of Victimhood cited "gross overuse" and "flagrant misconduct" as grounds for revocation of the Republicans' well-worn victim card.

"When they win, they're the victims. When they lose, they're the victims. When they're bashing someone's skull with a fire extinguisher, they're still the victims," said Vincent Valentine, vice-vicar of the Victim's Values Institute. "The Republicans have victimized themselves past the vanishing point; therefore their victim card has lost all value."

But the Republicans see themselves being wrongly painted as villains.  "This is outright vandalism!" complained Republican victim Vladimir Vorishenko. "Playing our victim card is our only path to victory."

Republicans sought to play their victim card to get their victim card back, 
claiming they're "a victim, as usual, of voracious vultures who want to vindicate vulnerable victims, such as themselves."  Their victim card, however, had been suspended as of midnight. So, the Republicans appealed their case to the Department of Whining and Foot-Stomping.

As additional punishment for their serial self-victimization, Republicans will face suspension of their race card, their gun card, their Hitler card, their woman card, their trump card, their abortion card, their riot card and their pity-party card.
