The following is 2019's official list of words and phrases that will have to be dropped from the English language. They have become obsolete because they have been used to death, or now they just mean something else. Some of them have strayed so far from their original definitions, they now mean the exact opposite. So now they have to go. Here are the condemned words and phrases for 2019, accompanied by their actual meanings:
 
1. Fake News.
ACTUAL MEANING: Real News.

2. What's Up?
ACTUAL MEANING: A greeting that is too shallow to answer.

3. Badass.
ACTUAL MEANING: 2006-ish definition of cool.

4. Please be advised.
ACTUAL MEANING: Please drop your pants and bend over.

5. You can tell me anything.
ACTUAL MEANING: You WILL tell me everything.

6. Walk it back.
ACTUAL MEANING: Un-hypocriting oneself.

7. You got a problem?
ACTUAL MEANING: Step outside.

8. Brain fart.
ACTUAL MEANING: A phrase to cute-up your fuck-up.

9. It's all about you.
ACTUAL MEANING: It's all about me.

10. I'm totally slammed.
ACTUAL MEANING: I'm too busy to waste my time with you.

11. Terrific.
ACTUAL MEANING: That which causes terror. (original definition)

12. Miracle.
ACTUAL MEANING: Something that happens all the time. Like pregnancy. 

13. Unpack it.
ACTUAL MEANING: Attempt to deal with something too big for your little mind.  

14. Multi task.
ACTUAL MEANING: Ability to ignore someone while doing several other things.

15. I totally understand.
ACTUAL MEANING: (customer service) I haven't got a clue, but I want 5 stars.

16. Fist-bump.
ACTUAL MEANING: Quasi-intimidating greeting while trying to appear hip.

17. I'm good.
ACTUAL MEANING: No. Go away. 

18. No worries. 
ACTUAL MEANING: Don't sue me. 

19. Relationship Manager
ACTUAL MEANING: Some guy in India offering you tech support.

20. Good luck with your future endeavors.
ACTUAL MEANING: Rejection with a velvet hammer.
